Literacy

At Poplar Elementary School, our reading program is designed to ensure that every student receives instruction tailored to their individual needs. Through a structured system that targets students at their instructional level, we are committed to identifying and addressing learning gaps to build strong foundational skills. This personalized approach has led to significant success, with many of our students reading at or above grade level. To further support our learners, we implement SIPPS—a research-based intervention program—as part of our Tier II and Tier III instruction. This targeted support empowers students to grow as confident, capable readers and reflects our dedication to literacy excellence across all grade levels.
